this is it this is probably one of those gem of lines that btvs cordy speaks but gets sidestepped as a joke like whedon women are generally made to suffer atrocius thing and it seems like a character building exercise and here is cordelia saying that she has too much character and you know it sucks to tell someone whose life is horrible that they have become stronger for it and look at the scenes this seventeen year old genius picked they are all scenes where cordelia has gone thrugh hell because of her gender three of them are related to forced impregnation arcs and one of them is her being tortured and then having to deal with women hatred as a direct result of stopping her torture and cordelia chase tells you in season 2 episode 1 that adversity isn’t this awesome character building exercise and her improved strength is worth going through hell multiple times a woman doesn’t have to suffer to have character she already HAS TOO MUCH CHARACTER
perhaps the best cordelia-related post on this whole site, oh my god
“[Sarah Michelle Gellar] really taught me a lot. I can’t say enough about what I learned from her about getting your marks, hitting your lights, the demands of the role that she was under, the crazy hours. It was an ambitious show. I’d really like to see her again”.

Okay, the point. Me, by myself all the time. I’m looking at you, everything you have, and, I don’t know, jealous. Then there I am. Everybody’s looking to me, trusting me to lead them, and I’ve never felt so alone in my entire life. And that’s you every day, isn’t it?
- Well, I hate brie.
